It's the final day of the campaign... and we're very (very-very) close to the final stretch goal. It's been awesome to see everyone's excitement during the campaign and we're thrilled to see we might just unlock everything for this last 80's expansion.

With that said, we want everyone to please make note to READ ALL FUTURE KICKSTARTER UPDATES coming your way, as this will be our main line of communication post-campaign concerning everything and anything going on with the project.

In the past we've seen a lot of folks kind of zone out after the campaigns over, ignore updates, and then we receive a bunch of emails asking where their rewards are or a ton of questions whos answers have been provided in the many updates they didn't read (tsk, tsk). So let's avoid that. 😜

Once the campaign finishes these will be the preliminary next steps:

• We will be getting the pledge manager set-up and hopefully have it live within 1 - 2 weeks. You will receive an invite from BACKERKIT. This is not only where you will manage your pledge but pay for your shipping for your rewards.
• The team will be spending the next month finalizing the expansion and all other rewards for printing.

So that's where we're at. NOW LET'S FINISH STRONG!

Prehysteria: Four of Five Stretch Goals Unlocked

In case you missed it. We have now unlocked 4 of our 5 stretch goals! And with 12 days left in the Kickstarter, there is plenty of time to unlock the final stretch goal which will bring to the game a brand new survivor for use in the Escape from Tall Oaks, and can also serve as a hero in Mixtape Massacre.

The New Mode

With Colorado joining the expansion, we wanted to introduce an alternative way to play the expansion. Whereas in the regular Time Warp mode, you'll be working with your fellow players to find portals and make successful jumps in order to correct the timeline, we wanted a mode that put Colorado front and center.

The Egg Hunt

In this mode, players will remove the Time Killer and Jacob Rothman slashers, Portal Killer Scene cards, and Paradox cards. Instead, you'll insert the New Egg cards into the Supply deck. During play, players will be rescuing citizens and searching for the Raptor Eggs to return to the main portal in the center of the town. There will be 6 Egg cards inserted into the supply deck, 4 that need to be collected and 2 that should be avoided.

Clever Girl

If you draw Colorado to you during play, unlike your regular slashers, be prepared to not only have to fight her, but first defend against her. As a skilled hunter and protective mommy, she will always be the one to make the first move in any confrontation.

How to Win

In this mode, players will work to make their necessary rescues and find the 4 Egg Cards. They must collect and return the eggs to the portal in the center of town before they exhaust the Killer Scenes Deck in order to get Colorado and her babies to go back home. Fail, and Tall Oaks becomes an all you can eat buffet.

New Killer Scene

With Colorado's introduction, we also wanted to add a new card to the Killer Scene's deck in the vein of The Survivor Card. Only this card will bring Colorado and her prehistoric friends into either mode of play and will cause some unusual chaos. More to come.

Colorado Has Entered Tall Oaks

Hey Slashers!

We're entering DAY 3 and not only have we unlocked 3 Stretch Goals, including COLORADO the Raptor, but we're already making our way onto the 4th stretch goal.

Like other slashers in the expansion, Colorado will come with a character piece and profile card for use in Escape from Tall Oaks, as well as an ability token and profile card for use in Mixtape Massacre.

For all those just joining the campaign be sure to go back and check our last update for a breakdown of all the Exclusive Add-Ons in the campaign.

We also made some nice press rounds yesterday and this morning on some of the horror sites such as Dread Central, Bloody Disgusting, and Fangoria.

That's going to do it for this mornings update. Let's keep pushing towards that fourth stretch and unlock a fun additional game mode for the game.

DAY ONE: Stretch Goals and Add-Ons

A nice little update for DAY ONE.

Stretch Goals

DAY ONE is still rolling along and it's been pretty amazing. From funding in under 2 hours, to already unlocking 2 stretch goals (Spot Printing for all Purple on the Box as well as the addition of 5 more supplies in the box), what a day.

Also, part of hitting the second stretch goal is also revealing our $20K Slasher: 

Meet Colorado. She's not your friend and a whole lot more. With portals opening up all over Tall Oaks, it was only a matter of time before something from the past made its way to Tall Oaks borders. It's feeding time!

We're not too far from unlocking her, and like all other slashers contained in the Time Warp expansion, she'll come with a profile card for use in Escape from Tall Oaks, as well as an ability token and Slasher Profile card for use with Mixtape Massacre.

Available as part of the Quantum Leap pledge level or as an add-on.  You know we always gotta do a kick ass tee for our Kickstarters and this one is no different. 3 color print on black and dripping with fun.

Honestly, this one is debatable but you guys always ask to have extra copies available for purchase, so here it is. Grab one for a friend, or for your mom, or grandma, or for your annoying neighbor. Go wild.

Escape from Tall Oaks

If you don't own it yet, you're going to want this as it's required to play your expansion. A Stand-Alone Survival Horror Game.

Mixtape Massacre: Escape from Tall Oaks is a meta-cooperative game where 2 to 6 players attempt to escape the maddening streets of Tall Oaks by fighting off slashers, rescuing residents, and safeguarding the town in hopes of getting the hell outta town…or die trying. Though working together at times, in the end only one survivor will escape.

We just hit funding in under 2 hours and we are now heading towards UNLOCKING STRETCH GOALS.
